VMMA Christmas Break-up Valley Homestead
Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th December 2010
Report from Rhonda
What a weekend was had by all. The early bird arrivals, knowing I was still in manager mode left me to get on with the job. When I was finally able to ‘knock off’ Old Nick (aka Bob Nicholls) took me for a burn on his trike, what fun! A pity the movement and handing over of an ice cold beer from Dean to me wasn’t able to be caught on film, as we sped by him in the driveway. Chris, Sharyn, Dean, Tracy (no e), Blake, Bob, Jean, Ian, Kerry, Richard, Barry and I then settled in for a BBQ tea.
Rhonda having the ride of her life!!!!!
Saturday turned out to be a wonderful sunny (although hot) day – can we turn on the weather or what. Everyone headed up to the activities, which were ably supervised by Valley Homestead instructors.

Kerry also showed us how it can be done.
Swimming pool volleyball with at times very compassionate referee.
See the photo gallery for all the spills and thrills. Back down for a swim, pre-dinner and a friendly chat in the relaxation of the main building. Dinner was superbly waited by Richard Goddard and we all settled in for a night of talking, drinking and generally having a conversational time.

Richard assisted with serving the meals, thank you Richard.
Sunday morning rolled around a little too quickly, breakfast eaten, everyone packed and suddenly the weekend was over. I had a fabulous weekend, the comradeship of members of the VMMA never ceased to amaze me.

I therefore am looking forward to the next gathering.
