VMMA Working with the Community
Temple Society Australia “Sommerfest” Day
Sunday 14th March 2010
Following last years successful Temple Society "Wheely Fun Day" the VMMA was again invited by Martina to join with them on their "Sommerfest" Day on Sunday 14th March at their Bayswater facility.
The VMMA was invited to provide motorcycle ride's for those older than 8 years old, this is a Victorian government ruling that no one under the age of 8 years can be a pillion on a motorcycle on public roads.
The Temple Society was very well organised and handled all the ride bookings which made our task of providing the ride very easy, once again the VMMA members provided the motorcycle safety attire along with the recently purchased pillion rider security belts that provide a secure holder point for the pillion rider.

Some of the VMMA motorcycles and trike's at the Temple Society “Sommerfest” Summer Festival at Bayswater.
We setup our display and banner under the tree's in the shade in a position that gave easy access for the motorcycles and trike's as they provided ride's to the Temple Society members.
The event commenced at 11.00 am and ran through to 3.30 pm with many activities being provide for the young members of the Temple Society such as face painting, knocking down bottles, animal farm, trampoline, spin painting, craft activities, tractor rides along with many other events during the day.
VMMA setup for a day of providing motorcycle rides for the Temple Society Australia (an independent Christian community).
VMMA members who attended were Dean, Tracy, Chris, Bob, Jean, Johnno, Richo, Glenn, Debbie, Sam, Alana, Ian and later in the day Chris & Sharyn who bought Chris's mum and dad along to support the event.
The VMMA was also supported by Colin and Rosy who attended with their trike to assist with the pillion rides, thank you Colin and Rosy your support was very much appreciated.

Definitely a thumbs up, let’s get going!!!!
We were lucky to have three trike's attend on the day and provide at least 85% of the rides, thank you to Bob & Jean, Ian, Colin & Rosy for making their trike's available for the pillion rides and a thank you to
Dean, Richo, Glenn and Johno for providing the motorcycle rides during the day.
The young girls request is coming true, a motorcycle ride.
The riders were assisted by Jean, Tracy, Debbie and Chris who arranged the fitting of the motorcycle safety clothing and helmets along with ensuring the pillions got onto and off their trike or motorcycle safely, with out these people assisting we could not provide rides to the community.

Trikes on the move!!!!
Once again this community based event like all the others we partake in was very rewarding to all those who attended knowing we have assisted others in the general community at their event and expanded our friendships with those we would not normally meet.
