Awarded a ‘Priory Vote of Thanks’

Jonathan Taylorson, VMMA member from Bendigo, and Entered Apprentice in Bendigo City Lodge No. 714, is to be awarded a ‘Priory Vote of Thanks’ for his eight years of diligent and faithful service to St. Johns Ambulance in Australia.

 

The ceremony will be conducted at Government House Melbourne on Saturday 27th November 2010 where Jonathan will receive his award from the Governor of Victoria, Professor David de Kretser, A.C.

 

 

 

Jonathan briefly explained the history of St.Johns, where its origins can be traced back to the time of the Crusades.

 

The Maltese Cross is the internationally recognised symbol of St.Johns.

 

We congratulate Jonathan on his award and acknowledge his ongoing community work, which is in addition to his demanding role as a nurse at Bendigo Hospital.
