Reported by Dean Lugton Return to Reports 2009 Index
This was the first one day social for the year organised by our Social Events Co-ordinator/Team Leader Mal Kidd.
These social events are designed to incorporate some motorcycle riding along with the opportunity to socialise rather than riding all day.
Great views from Arthurs Seat.
This particular social commenced at the BP Servo on the Westernport Freeway at Thompsons Road meeting at 4.15 pm for a 4.30 pm departure with the following members Dean, Dennis, Anita, Dave, Danny, Sandra, Rick, Tanya, Mal, Michelle, Erin, Alana, Richo, Mark, Taxi, Beryl, Johnno, Brian, Graham, Marilyn and Pip braving the 40 degree's plus heat.

Arriving at Arthurs Seat.
The lead rider for the day was Dennis who was on his home turf around the Peninsular and should have known the roads in the area!!!!!
Well he now knows of another road that is dirt due to YES a wrong TURN. (Where is Chris and the Tom Tom when you need them?)
Dean and Chris are not the only ones to find dirt road are they Dennis?
The ride cooled down as soon as we got off the freeway and started heading towards the bay much to everyone delight.
There were great twisties going up and down Arthur’s Seat and the views along beach parade were enjoyed by all.
