VMMA Official Visit  to Lodge Noble No. 783

The VMMA was invited by W.Bro. David Cash, WM of Noble Lodge No. 783 and VMMA Vice President to join with him on his last night as WM at the South Eastern Masonic Centre.

 

David was surprised to see the following VMMA members enter the lodge David, Dennis, Larry, George, Mal, Bob, Chris, Taxi and VMMA Patron W.M. Bro. John Wilson, PGM.

 

The work for the evening was a full opening to the 3rd degree with a full closing that included the obligation of the Master Elect.

 

Once the work was complete the lodge was closed promptly and the traditional photo shoot of VMMA members was taken in the Lodge Room.

In the south there were a number of toasts to David that highlighted his past 12 months as Master of Lodge Noble along with his continued support of VMMA events around Victoria.

 

VMMA Patron M.W. Bro. John Wilson, PGM who was David's installing master last year particularly spoke of David's and Viv's involvement within Freemasons Victoria both at lodge level and other related Masonic organisations.

 

David was presented a small gavel.

 

David was presented with a miniature gavel and base from Lodge Noble to mark his year in the chair, this was David's second time in the chair of Lodge Noble.

 

Bob being always prepared traded some VMMA merchandise that raised a sum of $180, even though it was not an evening for the VMMA but an evening to join with David on his last night.

The evening concluded with a good number of VMMA members going home with a winning offering for their partners.

 

Taxi and Chris put all the warm gear on and rode off into the fog, whilst others suggested they would drive home with their windows down to share the experience!!!!!
