The VMMA continues its support of Kaiser who has had a double lung transplant due to Cystic Fibrosis  by booking a 10 of table at his World Transplant Games Fundraiser held at the Bells Hotel and Brewery, South Melbourne on Thursday 13th August 2009.

VMMA President Dean Lugton with Kaiser all decked out in his Australian Transplant World Games kit.

Kaiser has not been that well of late and has had numerous visits back to the Alfred Hospital since he had his nose operated on,  but at this point in time it appears Kaiser has a lung infection.

VMMA members who supported Kaiser's World Transplant Games Fundraiser were Dean, Tracy, Viv, Dave, Chris, Sharyn, Sarah, Matthew, Taxi and Beryl.

It was a bit of a rush for everyone to get into South Melbourne by 6.30 pm, Sarah being the only late arrival, but Sarah did have a good reason for she was assisting at the Shrine setting up a WW1 display.

The evening was run by PPR Solution's in a function room at the Bells Hotel and Brewery, no shortage of supporters for Kaiser's effort to represent Australia at the World Transplant Games.

Fundraising was achieved via games of trivia with other games mixed along with a raffle and selling of Red Roses, finger food just kept coming all night.

Kaiser did attend and was very proud to be wearing his World Transplant Games tracksuit, Stan the man was at the Brewery and signed Kaiser's shirt.

The VMMA table during the evening was ranked in the trivia scores but by the end of the evening we were holding the wooden spoon and each of us were presented with a soft toy green frog to mark the occasion.

The evening raised $5200 towards Kaiser's costs of represent Australian in the World Transplant Games.
