A good weekend was had by all, we met up at the BP servo just near Calder park and after the obligatory coffee hits we all headed off for Bendigo, a fairly uneventful ride up except I think my speedo must be about 15klm’s out?

Very good roll up for the rehearsal. Yes definitely some running repairs.

We all checked into the motel and then proceeded back to the Lodge hall for a bite to eat (plenty of food available thanks to the ladies) then on with the rehearsal which went fairly smoothly, after we finally worked out what order we were to enter the Lodge room!

Then back to the Motel for a good chin wag and a couple of refreshments (only a couple Baron).

VMMA Proclaiming Officer W.Bro David Wells, WM of Healesville Lodge No. 247.

There were enough cars there for most of us to go to lodge and leave our bikes at the motel.

The installation went extremely well and everyone complemented David Wells on an excellent job seeing it was his first time as proclaiming officer.

The lodge put on a lovely meal and generally everyone enjoyed the evening. A good idea was they charged all of us $5:00 which included your raffle ticket & meal.

We did end up back at Robert and Pedro’s room for a few drinks which was a very good way to relax and wind down from a very good day.

Installation complete it is time for the traditional group photo with Pedro trying to direct the proceedings.

The following morning we all settled up our account at the Motel (very expensive for singles sharing a room) and headed for the bakery for breakfast .

Installed W.M. Bro. Ian Ray being escorted into the south by the VMMA Deacons with the VMMA donated ceremonial swords.

That was after someone needed a push funny bikes these BMW’s, we then decided to take the back road to Kyneton for something a little better than the boring highway one rider may have got a nickname (Autumn Leaves) and another will get the Empty tank award, (well they now know which way the tap points for reserve), it will get around quick enough without me putting names to paper.

I had a very enjoyable weekend and look forward to our next get together.

Cop ya later
