Helping Cystic Fibrosis - Tin Rattling Day on Friday 23rd May

Cystic Fibrosis Awareness month was May and we had pleasure to support them and rattle tins to raise money and sell merchandise.

 

The Day Started out on a cold Melbourne morning at 6.00 am fog in the air and the decision to take the car or bike. (The bike one) All rugged up we set of to the city to collect our packs for the day, once in the city the fog dispersed so knew this was going to be a good day.

 

Once we had our packs we headed of to cover the area of Bayside City Council Intersections – Incoming / Outgoing – Nepean & North. On arrival we found a coffee shop one the corner, so a quick coffee to start to take the morning chills off then to rattling. The tins filled very quickly and from the comments of some of the car drivers I was very surprised at how many new of someone who had CF.

 

Once the tins were full we headed back to the CF office to hand in our tins. Then all made our way home.

 

This event was thoroughly enjoyed by all that attended.
