Proof Cameron is a KICKER and smiles.
Five members of the VMMA attend the meeting Chris, Bob, David, Phil and Wazza and on entering the lodge Cameron gave each VMMA members a DVD of the February 2007 Annual CanTeen Ride.
There were a large number of W.M.'s on the road visiting this particular evening, they are a very vibrant and enthusiastic group who definitely added their own style to the evening.
L to R. Bob, Wazza, Phil and David and Chris behind the camera.
The work for the evening was a very interesting presentation of the Lodge Room Officers positions, jewels and responsibilities along with some history as to when they may have been introduced into Freemasonry, this presentation involved a large number of Vermont Lodge members who collectively became involved in the presentation as the office positions were worked through.
Now is that a Vincent Rider or not?
The Lodge was closed around 9.00 p.m. yes nice and early and we adjourned into the south to partake in a great evening of friendship and fun, there was plenty of laughter form one particular table, can you guess who's? with Craig the SW of Vermont Lodge thoroughly enjoying himself. Craig has the tendency to loose his name badge and was seen dismantling the piano trying to retrieve his badge that some how became loss in all those lovely mechanical levers.
The exchange of Masonic property took place and of the 3 prizes only one escape to a non VMMA with both Chris and Bob winning 1st and 2nd prize.
For a change the evening concluded early at 10.30 p.m., the VMMA must thank Cameron for organising the venue of our next General Meeting which will be at the Blackburn Masonic Centre on Saturday 23rd June commencing at 1.00 p.m.
