(Taxi's Last Night)
The V.M.M.A. was invited to participate in W. Bro. Colin Fletcher's (Taxi) last night at the Brunswick North Masonic Centre, our esteemed Roast Master Matt Turner did his home work and shared this information in the south.
Once again the V.M.M.A. members attended in numbers to join with Taxi and Beryl on his last night, those members were Dean, Terri, Bob, Jean, Gary, Mal, Matt, Jane, Dennis, Chris, Sharyn, Warren, George, Larry and Tony.
Members of the V.M.M.A. in the south.
We entered the Lodge and Taxi welcomed the V.M.M.A. on behalf of Civil Service Lodge and was apprehensive of the to come proceedings in the south, this may have influenced the closing of the lodge in the second degree!!!!!
Warren became a member of Civil Service Lodge this particular evening, it is good to see members joining with their mates in the various lodges around Victoria with these friendships and associations being fostered through the V.M.M.A activities.
Finally we adjourned to the south and joined with our partners for a fun evening and Roast of Taxi, Matt's roast of Taxi was entertaining with the laughing witch along with the ball frog mating call of which had some amazing responses with a notable one from Jean and not to forget that special hat presented to Taxi.

This was truly a fun night and one that Matt once again was able to get everyone involved in the roast of Taxi by presenting a interesting representation of Taxi's year that also included particular mannerisms that have developed over the years.
The evening concluded with Jean winning 1st prize a lovely watch and hip flask and Warren winning gloves and socks.
