Freemasonry Victoria recently invited the V.M.M.A. Inc. to participate in Open Night presentations, our part in the Open Night would be to give an overview of the V.M.M.A. history, membership and activities both charitable and social, this presentation would be approximately 5 minutes in duration.

V.M.M.A. President Matt Turner and Chris Wells represented the V.M.M.A. at the Ferntree Gully Masonic Centre Open Night held on Tuesday 22nd February 2005.

This particular Open Night at the Ferntree Gully Masonic Centre was sponsored by Peace And Loyalty Lodge No. 261 and Freemasonry Victoria main spokesperson was Alan Francis.

It was obvious that Peace And Loyalty Lodge and other Lodges and brethren in the region had prepared for the evening for there were 35 plus men with their partners and or family interested enough to come along to the Open Night.

The Open Night commenced with the Maroondah District Coordinator Jim Mitchell introducing Freemasonry Victoria representative for the evening Alan Francis who then commenced the Open Night presentation.

Alan's presentation gave those in attendance a good overview of what Freemasonry Victoria has to offer men and its place within society, Alan introduced V.M.M.A. President Matt Turner who gave a 5 minute overview of the V.M.M.A. which included history, membership, charitable and social activities in the community in particular CanTeen and the Phillip Island Hospital Fundraiser in May 2005.
