Farewell To Saffron Hay

CanTeen Recreation Officer

Wednesday 9th June 2004

Return to Reports 2005

The V.M.M.A. was invited to attend Saffron's farewell gathering at the Bedford Hotel in Flemington Road on Wednesday 9th June 2005.

Saffron has been the V.M.M.A.'s main contact over the past 2 years in relation to CanTeen activities, our working relation with Saffron developed into a great friendship, that will continue even though Saffron has moved on from CanTeen.

The CanTeen Annual Motorcycle Day that the V.M.M.A. provides each year to CanTeen Members at "ZERO BUDGET" would not have developed into its current format of a permanent activity on CanTeen's calendar without Saffron's dedication, well done Saffron.

Brian, Vera, Erwin, Nellie, Chris, Sharyn & Garry represented the V.M.M.A. at the farewell along with many of Saffron's friends and work colleagues, a number of presentations were made to Saffron.

The V.M.M.A. Vice President Elect (Yes) Brian Sanders presented to Saffron a One Years Membership to the V.M.M.A. of which Saffron was over the moon, for she wishes to maintain our friendships and believes in our pursuits in relation to chartable activities.
