Members and friends of the V.M.M.A. enjoying their meal

The Annual Fundraiser was held on Saturday 28th February, 2004 at the North Melbourne Masonic Centre. Sixty Five people attend this fundraising function that consisted of a Buffet Spit Roast and Sweets along with a two man band.

 

Fundraising was enhanced by a Guess the Number of Lollies in the Jar, a Raffle along with an Auction of 15 kilograms of chocolates and two Motorcycle Crash Helmets.

The Auction of the 15 kilograms of chocolates was carried out by Mark and Matt, between them they managed to manipulate a final amount of $115, Erwin and Nellie were the highest bidder's, they  promptly donated the chocolates to the CanTeen Ride day which is on Sunday 28th March, 2004. Thank you Erwin and Nellie for your donation and continued support of the V.M.M.A. and CanTeen.

Mark auctioning one of the two Helmets Sponsored by A1 Motorcycles of Brighton.

Mark was the auctioneer for the two Motorcycle helmets that were sponsored by A1 Motorcycles of Brighton, thank you Dave Kenny.

 

The motorcycle helmets were auctioned singly, thank you to Jane and George for their winning bids for the helmets, the money raised from the helmets contributed a large portion of final amount raised on the night.

 

The Annual Charity Fundraiser raised approximately $1000, this amount will be donated over the next 12 months charity as the V.M.M.A. moves around the State of Victoria.

 

A big thank you to all those who volunteered their time in preparing for the evening and all those who assisted on the evening with fundraising and cleaning of the hall.
