Task Force - VMMA Assistance Required
VMMA members please assist the Task Force with this worthy community based activity. Task Force has asked for VMMA members to assist over the next four weekends at Pakenham cleaning wheelchairs and walking frames to be packed into containers ready for dispatch to East Timor for distribution to both children and adults. Commencing Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd August 2008 and the following weekends 9th & 10th, 16th & 17th and 23rd & 24th August 2008. Time: 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. For more details.
Bicycle Donation to Australian Education Industry Centre Inc (AEIC) Saturday 27th September 2008Following the cheque donation to Australian Education Industry Centre Inc (AEIC) at South Eastern Masonic Centre on Sunday 6th July 2008 it has been organised that the VMMA donate bicycles to AEIC on Saturday 27th September 2008.
The aim of this donation is to encourage VMMA members and their friends to donate 2nd hand bicycles they have in the garage, all types of bicycles in any condition are accepted by the AEIC workshop for they utilise parts from non complete bicycles to restore others, one component that nearly 95% of the time requires replacement and or repair is the seat.
VMMA members please locate 2nd hand bicycles that can be donated to this worthy Bicycle Recycling Project.
It can be arranged to pick the bicycles up and store them until Saturday 27th September 2008. For more details.

VMMA General & Annual General Meeting – Sunday 17th August 2008

Macca Reid (VMMA member) has assisted by booking the venue and making all the arrangements regarding room for our meeting. Venue: Altona RSL, 31 Sargood Street, Altona 3018, Victoria. Melway Map Ref: 54, G11. General Meeting to commence at 11.00 a.m., on closure of the General Meeting members can purchase a counter meal at the Altona R.S.L. VMMA Official Visit to George Bass Lodge No. 889 Daylight on Thursday 28th August 2008.
The VMMA has been invited to make a presentation to the brethren of George Bass Lodge No. 889 Daylight that meets at Dromana. Main VMMA presenter will be David Hall with Chris assisting.
