The VMMA has received communication that our submission for Financial Assistance to Freemasons Victoria Board of Benevolence has been successful in the form of a $1 for $1 contribution up to a total amount of $15,000.

At present we have raised approximately $11,000 through donations from individuals and Lodges throughout Victoria and our official CFV raffle.

With the Freemasons Victoria Board of Benevolence $1 for $1 support we are already in a position to talk about being able to donate approximately $22,000 to CFV which puts us in a favourable position to achieve aim goal of $40,000.

VMMA members, brethren and the general community are encourage to give consideration to support this event by either making a donation of an item to the Games/Trivia and auction to be held each night during the 8 day ride, financial donation of which a CFV Tax deductible receipt will be issued or by attending one of the Games/Trivia and auction nights at Stawell, Portland, Ballarat, Cohuna, Wodonga, Bairnsdale, Warragul and the Grand Finale at Queenscliff Bowling Club.

Both the VMMA and CFV are continuing to finalise arrangements for the "Breathless" 8 Day Ride this will be ongoing over the next two weeks.

The ride will depart from Freemason's Victoria Grand Lodge at 300 Albert Street, East Melbourne at 10.00 a.m. freemasons and the general community are invited to join with us at Albert Street prior to the 10,00 am departure. Our Grand Master M.W. Bro. Garry Sebo will be in attendance along with the Chinese Youth Orchestra, 7 members of the Golden Tappers along with CFV representatives, 2 police motorcycle solo's, SES vehicles and media.

Pedro and Chris are finalising the route for each day, whilst CFV is organising the BBQ welcome into each town at 4.00 p.m.

Each overnight stop has a specific Information Flyer Sheet that has been distributed to our local representatives to promote the games trivia fun night of fundraising, each of this promotional information sheets are available at the top of these page in pdf format, so if you would like copies to promote the event please print off the copies you require.

Every Freemasons Lodge in Victoria has been sent a letter and supporting document seek their involvement in this event by either or making a donation and attending one of the trivia fun games nights as we travel through Victoria.

CFV is currently negotiating with WIN TV and SBS to cover the progress of this event each day, print media will also be covering the event.
